(i) Take two identical bowls and fill them with water.
(ii) Put one of the bowls on the spot where direct sunlight is falling and another one under shade.
(iii) Examine both bowls and draw current water levels in each with a pencil and paper.
(iv) Return to the experiment every hour for the remainder of the day, making notes and drawings of the water levels.
(v) It will be observed that the water in a bowl which is placed in direct sunlight evaporates much more quickly than the water placed under shade due to more heat.
(vi) It will boost water's chemical activity and speeds up the evaporation process.
