Multiply $\frac{-13}{33}$ by $\frac{1}{1}$ $=\frac{-13\times 1}{33\times 1}\Rightarrow \frac{-13}{33}$

and $\frac{8}{11}$ by $\frac{3}{3}$ $=\frac{8\times 3}{11\times 3}\Rightarrow \frac{24}{33}$ for making the denominators of both the fraction are same

Now add $\frac{-13}{33}$ and $\frac{24}{33}$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{-13}{33}+\frac{24}{33} \\ =\frac{-13+24}{33}\Rightarrow \frac{11}{33} \\ \Rightarrow \frac{1}{3} \end{gathered}$$ (for simplifying it divide numerator and denominator by 11)
