Question
Add:
(iv) 4+𝑥, 5−2𝑥 and 6𝑥
Open in App
Solution
Step: Find the value of 4 + 𝑥 + 5 − 2𝑥 + 6𝑥
We need to add (4+𝑥), (5−2𝑥) and 6𝑥.
= (4+𝑥)+(5−2𝑥)+6𝑥
= 4+5+(1+6−2)𝑥
= 9+(7−2)𝑥
= 9+5𝑥
Hence, the answer is 9+5𝑥.
