The correct option is A $4 \frac{3}{5}$
$1 \frac{2}{5} + 3 \frac{1}{5}$

Adding the whole number part and fractional part separately.
We have, $(1 + 3) +$ $(\frac{2}{5} + \frac{1}{5})$
