Also, we can use the product of the denominators to get a common denominator keeping in mind that the denominators are prime.

We have 13+14

The least common multiple of the denominators (3,4)=12

=13+14=412+312(changing13&14inequivalentfractionhavingdenominatoras12)=712

Therefore the required sum in the lowest term is 712
