Cirrhosis is the failure of the liver. The tissues of the liver are replaced by the scar tissue. In alcoholic person, some part of alcohol is changed into acetaldehyde, which stimulates the formation of fat. This fat gets deposited over the wall of arteries and also accumulates in liver cells. Due to which liver fails and there is very little regulation of carbohydrate protein and fat metabolism. Later on, the liver gets turned into solid, hard, fibrous organ causing liver cirrhosis.
So, the correct answer is option A.
