The correct option is

Lymphoid organs are specialized tissues that provide the microenvironment for the functional maturity (primary lymphoid organs) or activation (secondary lymphoid organs) of lymphocytes.
The tonsils are grouped under secondary lymphoid organs. It is situated at the back of the throat on either side. Since these are present near the pharynx, they trap any antigen entering through the mouth or nasal passage.
There are three locations where tonsils are found which are as follows :
- At the base of tongue - Lingual tonsils
- At the sides of the back of the mouth - Palatine tonsils
- At the roof and posterior wall of the nasopharynx- Adenoids tonsils. Hence option a is correct.
Option b is lingual tonsils and option c is palatine tonsils.
Adenoid tonsils (pharyngeal tonsil) are the superior-most of all the tonsils. It consists of a mass of lymphatic tissue located behind the nasal cavity, in the roof of the nasopharynx, where the nose blends into the throat.
