Total time =36 months

Let tA and tM be the time of contribution of Aditya and Manish respectively.

Ratio of their profit shares =300×tA500×tM.....(1)

Total profit =Rs.1020

Aditya's share =Rs.495

Manish's share =1020495=Rs.525

Ratio of profits =495525=3335.....(2)

From equation (1) and (2), we have

300×tA500×tM=3335

tAtM=117

Therefore,
Time period for which Aditya invested =1111+7×36=22 months
