Adjoining figure shows a series $R C L$ circuit connected to an ac source which generates an alternating emf of frequency $50 H z$ . The reading of the voltmeters $V_{1}$ and $V_{2}$ are $80 V$ and $60 V$ respectively.
Find:
The current in the circuit

$f = 50 H z$
Let the current in the circuit be $I$
$V = I R$
$80 = I \times 100$
$I = \frac{80}{100} = 0.8 a m p$ .
