Let the present age be x.
Age after 32 years from now =x+32
Age of Rahim 8 years back = x-8
5 times of x-8= 5(x-8)
we know that after 32 years he will be 5 times as old as he was 8 yrs ago.
So we can equate x+32=5(x-8)
X+32=5x-40
5x-x=32+40
4x=72
X=72÷4
=18
