Question

after eating lemons should we brush our teeth why or why not? lemons are also acids

Open in App
Solution

No you should not brush your teeth after eating lemons as they contain acid which softens the enamel. Brushing your teeth directly after intake of that acid causes damage to the enamel due to abrasiveness of the brush. You should take a sugar-free gum that neutralises that acid and also secretes saliva that neutralises the acid in the mouth.
