Marked Price of shirt = ₹150

Price after first discount $=\frac{100-x}{100}\times \text{Marked Price}=\frac{100-x}{100}\times 150$

Again $12.5\%$ discount is given on the shirt after initial discount.

Price after second discount = ₹105

$\Rightarrow$ $105=\frac{100-12.5}{100}\times \frac{100-x}{100}\times 150$

$105=\frac{87.5}{100}\times \frac{100-x}{100}\times 150$

$100-x=\frac{105\times 100\times 100}{150\times 87.5}=80$

$x=100-80=20$

So, first discount is $20\%$.
