After holding a pack of ice in your hand for some time, put your hand in water at room temperature. Your hand would now feel:
Warmer
While holding ice in hands for a while, there is a heat transfer from the hand to the ice. As a result, the hands would feel cold. Since the heat is transferred from hand to ice, the temperature of the hand decreases let us assume around 10∘C. Now, if the hand is put in water at room temperature (around 25∘ C), it would feel hotter as it is now in contact with water which is at a higher temperature.
