When 1-chloro-3-methylbenzene reacts with Br2/FeBr3, it produces 1-bromo-4-chloro-2-methylbenzene as a major product. +R effect of Cl is dominated over hyperconjugation effect of methyl group so bromination occurs at ortho/para position.
Br gets attached at para position due to steric hindrance at ortho position. The reaction for the same is given below.

Hence, option (b) is major product.
