λvλa=μaμv=1.0003

for vacuum t=λ1,for air t=λa(n+1)

n+1n=λvλa=1.0003

1+1n=1.00031n=0.0003

n=10.0003=1043t=λvn

=6000×1010×1043=2×103m=2 mm.
