Given, the final result is 4 times the number thought of

$\Rightarrow (\text{x}–\frac{4}{3})\times 6=4\text{x}$

$\Rightarrow \text{6x}–8=\text{4x}$

$\Rightarrow 2\text{x}=8$

$\Rightarrow \text{x}=4$
