The correct option is B₹3000 Amount invested by Ajay = ₹30,000
Amount invested by Ali = ₹50,000
Ratio of investment by Ajay to investment by Ali = 30,000 : 50,000 = 3 : 5
Sum of two terms in the ratio = 3 + 5 = 8
