Integers:

The natural (or counting) numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,...

If number 0 is included in the natural numbers ,then the new set of numbers will be known as whole numbers

Now , the whole numbers together with the opposites(negatives) of natural numbers , makes the Integers

Integers can be represented as :

{...,5,4,3,2,1,0,1,2,3,4,5,...}

Therefore, all natural numbers together with 0 and negatives of all the counting numbers form the set of integers.
