Open in App
Solution

All rectangles have all the properties of parallelograms but a parallelogram may not have all the properties of a rectangle.
1. In a rectangle all the angles are equal and all are right angles but in a parallelogram only opposite angles are equal.
2. In a rectangle the diagonals are equal but in a parallelogram diagonals are not equal.

Hence, we can conclude that, all rectangles are parallelograms, but all parallelograms are not rectangles.
