Open in App
Solution

i) There are 12 face cards in all in pack of 52 cards.

Out of that there are 6 black face cards. (52 - 6 = 46)

Out of 12 face cards, 6 black face cards are removed.
1)probability of getting face card=6/46

2)number of redcards = 26
probability of red card=26/46=13/23

3)The probability of getting the black from remaining 46 cards = 20/46 = 10/23

ii) After removing 6 red face cards there are 2 black king left in remaining 46 cards

The probability of getting a king is 2/46 = 1/23

All the best!!!
