Numbers which can be written in the form of $\frac{p}{q}$, $q\ne 0$, $p$ and $q$ are integers are known as rational numbers.

For example: Let $a$ be an integer, so we can write $a$ as $\frac{a}{1}$ which is of the form $\frac{p}{q}$, $q\ne 0$ which is a rational number.

Hence, all the integers are rational numbers.
