The given equation is,
x22mx+m21=0
x22mx+m2=1
(xm)2=1
xm=1 or xm=1
x=m+1,m1
The roots are (m+1) and (m1)
As per question,
2<m+1<4
3<m<3 ----- ( 1 )
And
2<m1<4
1<m<5 ---- ( 2 )
From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) the value m satisfying the given condition is 1<m<3
