Solution

The correct options are
A Eosinophils
C Basophils
A. Eosinophils are granular leucocytes and play important role in immunity and allergic reactions. These make about 1 - 5% of total leucocytes.
B. Neutrophils are granular leucocytes and perform phagocytosis and also destroy bacteria. These make about 60 - 70% of total leucocytes.
C. Basophils are granular leucocytes and contain heparin, serotonin and histamine. Histamine causes allergic symptoms in response to allergens in body. These cells also get activated by IgE immunoglobins which are antibodies formed against antigens derived from allergy causing substances. These make about 0.5 - 2.7% of total leucocytes.
D. Monocytes are agranular leucocytes. They are actively motile and phagocytic cells. These make about 2 - 7% of total leucocytes.
Hence, eosinophils and basophils regulate allergic responses.
So, the correct answer is 'Eosinophils and Basophils'.
