Trisomy 21 is a type of Down's Syndrome. Trisomy 21 results from an extra chromosome in the 21 pair of autosomal chromosomes. The condition is the most common autosomal trisomy, it occurs mostly in white population with an incidence rate of 1 out of 700 live births.
