Solution
Functions of Bile juice is an absorption:
* It helps the body to absorb the breakdown products of fat in the gut. Bile salts bind with lipids to form micelles. This is then absorbed through the intestinal mucosa. * Emulsify fats and break it down into small particles. * It kills germs present in the food. * It has an important part in the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins. * Bile also carries excess cholesterol out of the body and 'dumps' it into the gastrointestinal tract where it can be passed out with other waste matter. * This reduces the acid content of the chyme.
