aluminium is more reactive than iron , yet there is less erosion of AL. why

Aluminium first forms a layer of aluminium oxide which is not that much reactive. That is why its less corroded. Whereas iron forms iron oxide which is more reactive and forms further oxide layers (rust) and the article get corroded faster.
