The correct option is B 48.86 g
Moles of aluminium = 3427=1.259
Moles of chlorine gas =3971=0.549
As per the reaction, 2Al+3Cl22AlCl3
3 moles of chlorine gas react with 2 moles of aluminium
0.549 moles of chlorine react with 23×0.549=0.366 moles aluminium
So, chlorine gas is limiting reagent
3 moles of chlorine gas produce 2 moles of aluminium chloride.
0.549 moles will produce 23×0.549=0.366 moles Mass of AlCl3=0.366×133.5 = 48.86 g
