Aman bought a car for ₹2,00,000 and spent ₹50,000 on its maintenance work. If he sells his car for 10% profit, then its selling price is:
Aman bought the car for ₹2,00,000.
Amount spent for maintenance = ₹50,000.
While selling the car, Aman will include the cost of maintenance also.
So, cost price of Aman’s car will be
= ₹2,00,000 + ₹50,000
= ₹2,50,000
Now, he sells it at 10% profit.
The profit amount will be equal to 10% of Cost price.
So, profit amount will be
= 10100 x ₹2,50,000
= ₹25,000
So, total sale price of the car will be
= ₹2,50,000 + ₹25,000
= ₹2,75,000
