Let $x$ be amount Aman had

$40\%$ of $x$ was given to Rohan $\frac{40}{100}x=\frac{2}{5}x$

Rohan gave ${\frac{1}{4}}^{th}$ of $\frac{2}{5}x$ to Sahil

reaiminig amount with rohan $={\frac{3}{4}}^{th}$ of $\frac{2}{5}x$

$=\frac{6}{20}x$

Rs $200$ was paid for taxi

Sahil has remaining $=\frac{2}{20}x-200$

which is given to be $600$

$\frac{2}{20}x-200=600$

$⟹x=\frac{800}{2}\times 20$

$x=8000$ which is the amount Aman had.
