1. When Amanita's fish fell down it lost the source of oxygen which is necessary for survival.
2. Fish depends on oxygen dissolved in the water they live. The gills in fish help them to use dissolved oxygen.
3. Gills are projections of the skin which are well supplied with blood vessels for the exchange of gases.
