Let the age of Aman will be $3x$ years.

According to the given details, the equation becomes

$$\begin{gathered} 5(x–10)=3x–10 \\ \Rightarrow 5x–50=3x–10 \\ \Rightarrow 5x–3x=-10+50 \\ \Rightarrow 2x=40 \\ \Rightarrow x=20 \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, Aman’s son age $=x=20$ years

and, Aman's age $=3x=3\times 20=60$ years

Hence, the present age of Aman is $\mathbf{60}$ years and present age of Aman's son is $\mathbf{20}$ years.
