Using the concept of ratios of speed (speed directly proportional to distance), we can easily arrive at the total distance. The images below give

Length of the race track = 400 +x

The ratio of Akbar and Anthony's speed can be arrived at as

240+xx=400+x100+x

Now go from answer options, answer will be option (b) 800 m

Verifying, x = 400
