Solution
The correct option is C ₹25000 Let the amount invested in scheme A be ₹x and that in scheme B be ₹y. x + y = ₹45000 ..........(i) × 5 4x100+5y100 = ₹2000 ⇒ 4x + 5y = ₹200000 ........(ii) Solving (i) and (ii) we get : 5x + 5y = ₹225000 4x + 5y = ₹200000 ----------------------- x = ₹25000 So, Amount invested in scheme A = x = ₹25000
