The correct option is C 6 cm
The length of the thread is 18 cm.
So, the perimeter of the triangle will be 18 cm.
Also, the triangle has all the three sides equal.

Perimeter = side + side + side
$\Rightarrow$ 18 cm = 3 × side

$∴ one side = \frac{perimeter}{3} = \frac{18}{3} = 6 cm$
