Area of rectangular field $= 3 a^{2} + 5 a b + 2 b^{2}$

One of the side $= a + b$

Second side $= \frac{3 a^{2} + 5 a b + 2 b^{2}}{a + b} = \frac{(3 a + 2 b) (a + b)}{a + b} = 3 a + 2 b$

Length of the fence around the field $= 2 (l + b)$

$= 2 (3 a + 2 b + a + b)$

$= 2 (4 a + 3 b)$

$= 8 a + 6 b$
