Let salary = Rs. x Increment = 20$\%$ $\therefore$ Total salary = x + 20$\%$of x $\therefore x+\frac{20\times x}{100}=15300=\frac{120x}{100}=15300\Rightarrow x=\frac{15300\times 100}{120}\Rightarrow x=Rs.2550\times 5=Rs.12750$
