Let the money at start $=Rs.x$

$\%$ of money given to son $=0.65x$

$\%$ of money remaining $\Rightarrow x-0.65x$

$=0.35x$

Money given to daughter $\Rightarrow 0.4\times 0.35x$

$=0.14x$

Money left $\Rightarrow Rs.31,500$

$\therefore$ All to Questions:-

$x=0.65x+0.14x+31500$

$x=0.79x+31500$

$0.21x=31500$

$x=\frac{31500}{0.21}\Rightarrow Rs.1,50,000$

Money at first were $\Rightarrow Rs.1,50,000$

Money given to daughter $=0.14x$

$0.14\left(150000\right)$

$=Rs.21,000$
