Solution

The correct option is B Cu2+
According to the electrochemical series we know that, metals at the top of the series have high value of negative electrode potential, which means they are good reducing agents. They give away electrons easily.
While, metals at the bottom of the series have positive value of electrode potential, which means they are good oxidizing agents. They accept electrons very easily.
Cu2+ lies almost at the bottom of the electrochemical series. It has a positive electrode potential value. All the other mentioned metal ions lie towards the top of the series and have negative electrode potential value. Thus we can say that since Cu2+ has positive electrode potential value it is the best oxidizing agent or the best at accepting electrons, among the four mentioned ions. Hence Cu2+ will get reduced first, among the four mentioned ions.
