Solution

The correct option is B Hydrophobic tails of protein
The fluid mosaic model of biomembrane was proposed by Singer and Nicolson. It is composed of phospholipid bilayer and proteins. The phospholipid bilayer has two parts- hydrophilic head and hydrophobic tail. Proteins that are spanned through the bilayer are called integral proteins and those who are present at the periphery are called peripheral proteins. There are no hydrophobic tails of proteins in this structure.
