Since the car comes to a stop, its final velocity v=0. We need to find the initial velocity u.
Mass =1575kg
d=45m
Work done, W=Fd
or, W=7000×45 (As force applied and displacement are in opposite directions)
=315000J
We know,
Work Done,W=Δ(K.E)
315000=(12×mv2)(12×mu2)
315000=(0(12×1575×u2)
On solving we get u=20ms1.
