$A n a l o g v o l t a g e = R e s o l u t i o n \times d i g i t a l e q u i v a l e n t$

$2.86 = 30 m V \times d i g i t a l o u t p u t$

$D i g i t a l o u t p u t = \frac{2.86 V}{30 m V} = 95.3$

The step 95 would produce 2.85 V and step 96 would produce 2.88V.
