The first plane travels distance BC in the direction of north in 112 hours at a speed of 1000km/hr.
BC=1000×32km=1500km
The second plane travels distance BA in the direction of west in 112 hours at a speed of 1200km/hr.
BA=1200×32km=1800km
From right angles ABC,
AC2=AB2+BC2
=(1800)2+(1500)2
=3240000+2250000=5490000
AC=5490000m
AC=30061m
