An aeroplane takes off at an angle of ${30}^{\circ }$ to the horizontal. If the component of its velocity along the horizontal is $200\sqrt{3}km/h$. What is its actual velocity? Also find the vertical component of velocity.

As per question,
$V_{0}cos{30}^{\circ }=200\sqrt{3}kmph$
$V_0\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=200\sqrt{3}kmph$
$\therefore V_0=400kmph$
Vertical component $=V_{0}sin{30}^{\circ }=400\times \frac{1}{2}=200kmph$
