At the bottom of the lake, volume of the bubble
V1=43πr3=43π(0.18)3
Pressure on the bubble, p1= atmospheric pressure + pressure due to a column of 250cm of water.
=76×13.6×980+250×1×980
=(76×13.6+250)980dyne/cm2
At the surface of the lake, volume of the bubble
V2=43πr32=43π(0.2)3cm3
Pressure on the bubble,
p2= atmospheric pressure
=(76×13.6×980)dyne/cm2
T2=273+40=313K
Now, p1V1T1=p2V2T2
(76×13.6×250)980×(43)π(0.18)3T1
=(76×13.6)×980(43)π(0.2)3313
T1=283.37K
T1=283.37273=10.37oC.
