An air-conditioner of 3.2 kW power rating is connected to a domestic electric circuit having a current rathing of 10 A. The voltage of power supply is 220 V. What will happen when this air-conditioner is switched on ? Explain your answer.

As we know, P = VI
The supplied Power = 220 x 10 = 2.2KW

The required power of Air conditioner is more than supplied power, Hence the fuse will blow-off.
