An air-craft climbs at an angle of 30 at a speed of 500 metres per second. How long will it take to reach a height of 15000 metres ?

Height ascended by the air-craft =BC = 15000M

sin 30 = 15000AC

i.e, 12 = 15000AC

AC = 2 × 15000 = 30000m.

The air craft travels 500m, in 1 second. Hence to travel 30,000m.

it takes = 30000500 = 60 second
