Let the normal speed of the aircraft be x km/hr 1500x1500250+x=121500(250+x)1500xx(x+250)=12
x2+25x=2×1500×250x2+250x750000=0
x2+1000x750x750000=0x(x+1000)750(x+1000)=0
(x+1000)(x750)=0x=1000or750
Neglecting -ve values, x = 750 km/hr
