An algebraic expression consists of
Constants
Arithmetic operators
Variables
An algebraic expression is a mathematical phrase consisting of constants, variables and algebraic operators(eg. ′+′ and ′−′).
They do not have an equality sign (=), which makes them different from algebraic equations.
In the expression 4x+7, 'x' is the only variable, ′+′ is the operator, 7 is a constant and 4 is the coefficient of the variable ′x′.
