in 740g of the alloy.

As it is given that An alloy is made from 30%copper,35%zinc and the rest of nickel

Let us suppose the total percentage is 100%

So, Nickel =100-30-35=35%

As we have Total weight of alloy is 740g

So, the Weight of nickel in 740g of alloy here will be 35%of740g

=35100×740=259g

hence required weight of nickel is 259g
