The correct option is B 32 A
An AC ammeter reads the rms value of the AC.

Here,

V=60sin(πt) and R=20 Ω

The current flowing in the circuit is given by,

i=VR

i=60sin(πt)20=3sin(πt)

Comparing the above equation with the standard equation of current, i.e.i=i0sinωt, we get,

i0=3 A

The rms value of the current is,

irms=i02=32 A

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
